MICC @ University of Florence Stefano Baraldi was born in Bologna, Italy in 1975. He received a MSc degree in Computer Science in 2005 at the University of Bologna, after working several years as software architect for multimedia-intense and web-based CSCW applications. He started his PhD research at the University of Florence in order to understand how to facilitate face-to-face knowledge-building activities using natural interaction systems based on gesture recognition. He likes inventing things and interfaces, thinks that kids are the most advanced users and believes in visual metaphors as way to better understand the world. |
